What type of
AMD processors do you use?
Mica
Machines utilize AMD 64 / 939 architecture with up to 2.2GHz HyperTranport

My computer
is only a few months old from another maker and it has a 754-pin chip & board.
Is the 754-pin better than the 939-pin package that you use to build Mica
Machines?
No.
While the 754 is a strong chipset, it is being replaced by the 939 architecture
package. The 939 has many advantages over the 754 chipset family and is the best
AMD product offered today. With that said, let me say that the 754 is still a
very fast and reliable lineup. If the rest of the machine is up to par, you
should enjoy many years of computing in the 32 and 64 bit world.

What if I do
not like the cases you show on the web site? Do you have others?
Yes!
Tell us your style and we will design a system for you. Dozens of cases to
choose from and if you still do not find the perfect one, we have the option of
selecting a specific custom case model from a third party vendor for us to use
for your very own Mica Machine. Everything right down to the lights can be
designed around you.

What does it
mean when you advertise that all software is the full OEM version with all
factory discs?
Before a
Mica Machine is shipped, it is configured with all of the software that the
client wants. We install, set-up and adjust the programs and register the
programs with the maker in the client’s name. Our exclusive Protect & Play™
design, simply allows you to plug your new machine in and start computing!
Everything is installed, and updated with nothing more to do.
After all, you want to use your machine – not spend hours setting
it up.
Next, all of the software program discs are stored & organized in
our exclusive Mica Machine Storybook™
and included with your machine for later use. Therefore, every program installed
on your Mica Machine also includes the factory disc. Even the Microsoft
Windows XP SP2 operating system is the original Microsoft disc.

Do your
systems include any rebates?
No! We
would never play such a cruel game with you. We believe rebates are an outdated,
bad business practice that consumers should avoid. They allow false advertising
that makes comparative shopping confusing - if not impossible. And most of the
time, those rebates never arrive!

Will I need
to buy a monitor when I order my new Mica Machine or will one be included?
Your Mica Machine will be built on one of our five base models (Elite, X/cat,
Firecat, MADmax and the VistaMachine Series)
with an unlimited range of options. All fiver versions of an Mica Machine includes the CPU, Wireless
Keyboard & Mouse, 5.1 Speaker Set and our exclusive Mica Machine Catalog™.
However,
only the Firecat, MADmax and the VistaMachine series by Mica Machine includes
the CPU, 17", 19" or 20" Flat Panel Screen. You can add it to any
model if so desired. The Firecat, MADmax and the VistaMachine
series by Mica Machine
also includes Wireless
Keyboard & Mouse, 5.1 Speaker Set, Headset & Mic, Web
Camera and All-in-one/Printer.

What
type of software do you include?
Depending on the model, there will be several security, productivity and
multi-media programs installed. We will provide a complete and precise list
BEFORE you finalize your order. One thing that will not be included is malware.
As a founding member of CAAM ~ Consumers Active Against Malware, we adhere to a
strong code of moral conduct, that includes destroying malware and all uses of
it computing. All software programs will be of the latest versions and from the
biggest and brightest vendors in the world. Names you know and trust today.

or Windows Vista pre-installed?
Any Mica Machine™
built before the march 2007
will have Windows XP-SP2 pre-installed. You will receive the original Windows XP
OEM disc, not a ghost copy. And if you order the
Firecat™
& MADmax™ series by Mica Machine™,
you will receive the original
Microsoft®
Windows XP OEM disc and an original Microsoft®
Windows Vista Ultimate OEM disc after the beta period
is complete!
After March 2007, our VistaMACHINE™
version will be available.
